Create Geographic Map

1. Install Figmap plugin in Figma.
2. Go through Figmap to render the map -- you will need to upload the GPX file.

Create Custom Location Markers

1. Design custom markers based on the new data outputs you derived from the last exercise.
2. Create custom markers in Figma as components.
3. Replace Default Figmap marker with custom markers.

Analyze Geographic Map

1. Analyze the geographic map for spatial findings, annotating your map as necessary.
2. Iterate on your geographic map if you would like to build more information in for better analysis (encouraged).

If you would prefer to create a geographic map with a different workflow (QGIS, MapBox, Google Maps, Illustrator, etc.) feel free to do so. The above is designed to be no-code for those who do not want to get into HTML / CSS / Javascript, but the tooling can be tedious as the dataset size increases.

If you would prefer to visualize your data in a representation that is not geographic (some examples below), please talk to the instructor.
