Count Parts Across All Instances

• In a new data table, identify all the parts across the urban objects in your inventory.
• Combine all the urban objects into one abstraction by making a master list of all the parts across all the urban objects in your inventory.
• Count all the times the part was observed as a part of the urban object to develop a sense of frequency.

Create Row of Parts

• In another new data table, document all parts of the urban object.
• Each row will represents a single part of the urban object. Give each part a part ID and a part name.
• The part name must be given according to its standard name. Find the standard names through desk research. If names conflict, pick one with a solid argument for why and note these conflicts down in your research deck.

Create Columns Describing the Parts

• For each part, describe whether it is main / auxiliary to the object, whether it is discrete / continuous, and the quantity that exists for the overall object.
• If there are more than one of that part for your object AND it is a main part of the object, describe it in a new table that links the original part ID to a new sub-part ID.
• Add more columns to record new information about the parts that is relevant to your research question.
